FAQ — Shadow Liner

Answers to the most common questions—from comfort to healing and longevity.

Yes. We tailor mapping and saturation to your eye shape and lid space so the result looks softly defined—not heavy—on each client.

Longevity is typically 1–3 years depending on skin type, lifestyle, and after-care. A perfecting touch-up around week 6–8 is recommended.

Color looks deeper during the first few days. As the skin heals, it softens into a natural shadow along the lashline.

We use a gentle topical numbing cream. Most clients report mild pressure or tickling rather than pain.

Plan for about 1.5–2 hours including mapping, numbing, and the procedure.

Please avoid mascara and extensions until the lashline is fully healed (about 7–10 days). After that, light mascara is fine; extensions are best discussed case-by-case.

Expect mild tightness or flaking days 1–10. Keep the area dry and clean, avoid picking, and follow the ointment instructions we provide.

Yes—please avoid caffeine/alcohol in the 24h prior, lash curlers the same day, and lash-growth serums for 2–4 weeks before your service.
