Lip Blush Pre-Care

 

Get ready for your Lip Blush procedure, the right way.


  • If you EVER had any of those conditions, it is important you are pre-treated with an antiviral, a prescription by your physician is required to get this antiviral.

  • To strengthen your immune system, we recommend you to take an antiviral (Valtrex or Zovirax) 1 day before, and 3 tablets after the procedure, You should consult with your doctor, as a medical prescription is required for these antivirals.

  • No lips fillers 4 weeks before and 4 weeks after your procedure.

  • Please start moisturizing lips 7 days before your procedure with Aquaphor, or vitamin E oil. It is very important not to come to your appointment with dry lips.

  • 1-2 days prior to the appointment exfoliate your lips with a natural lip scrub.

  • No caffeine or alcohol consumption 24 hours before your procedure.

  • Avoid sun and tanning one week prior to procedure.

  • Do not take Aspirin, Niacin, Vitamin E or Advil/Ibuprofen 24 hours before procedure.

Lip Blush After-care

 


  • After the procedure, dab lips with a damp cotton pad every 1 hours until bedtime to absorb the lymph.

  • Moisturize once in every hour with Aquaphor, vitamin E oil, or similar for 14 days.

  • Do not pick off the crusts.

  • Do not eat hot, acid or pigmented foods for 7 days.

  • Avoid friction, such as kissing, for 7 days.

  • No smoking for 7 days.

  • Do not use lipstick for 30 days.

  • After 14 days, use Aquaphor at least 1 time a day, and acquire the daily habit of use transparent gloss or color-free balm.
